At the successful completion of this course, students can –
- Describe the position of the articulatory organs (main points of articulation - alveolar ridge, tongue, lips, teeth, uvula) when producing English sounds. Produce the 44 English sounds (vowels and consonants) with reasonable accuracy.
- Self-correct pronunciation errors in the most common error types made by native Thai speakers when using English.
- Read aloud a passage of English text so that a native speaker can understand most of the words uttered.
