Course Learning Outcomes

At the end of the course, students should be able to

• Explain the modern knowledge in microbiology and application of microorganisms in industry and environment
• Discuss the modern knowledge in microbiology through critical literature review
• Demonstrate practical skills in modern microbiology
• Solve problems and interpret results obtained from modern microbiological experiments
• Demonstrate appropriate moral behaviors, including scientific integrity, personal and social responsibility

Cellular and molecular mechanisms of pathogenesis during the course of infection by bacteria, fungi, viruses, and parasites; interaction between infectious agents and host

Course description: Presentation and discussion of current knowledge, technique and research on applied microbiology from published academic articles.
