D. Course descriptions

The elements of sentence structures; types of phrases, clauses, and sentences; grammatical rules, including article usage, subject-verb agreement, and punctuation

Intended learning outcomes

At the completion of this course, students should be able to:

1. gain grammar knowledge to develop receptive skills (reading and writing) in particular (PLO1 and PLO2)

2. use vocabulary and expressions to communicate accurately and meaningfully (PLO1);

3. analyze sentence structures and edit errors that may happen using IT (PLO3)

4. increase confidence in using English in cross cultural contexts (PLO4)
