Seminar on issues affecting the hospitality and tourism industry, discussion and exploration of marketing issues in the new era, utilizing various strategies and multidisciplinary approach, risk management, and the formulation of innovative solution as well as emerging business models to serve the changing hospitality and tourism industry

Theories on planning and sustainable development; roles of government and non-government agencies; the sociological and geographical dimension of tourism planning and development, interrelationships for effective planning and development in local, national and international levels; environmental, economic and socio-cultural impacts of tourism; tourism master plans; global forces influencing domestic and international travel and tourism.

Course Description: The course would provide the application of theoretical and practical knowledge of travel and tour management to business operations through a project. 

Objectives:

1.To be able to explain and discuss a general ides about travel services business management 

2.To be able to investigate and analyze the tourism business situations at national and international level 

3.To be able to apply the business and tourism knowledge ti establish a business plan

4.To be able to apply the principles and processes of package tour management 

5.To be able to apply the theoretical and practical knowledge of travel and tour management to business operations through a project 

6.To develop the personal skills for working in tourism industry 

คำอธิบายรายวิชา:ปัญหา สาเหตุ และผลกระทบการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่เกิดกับทะเลและชายฝั่ง (ทรัพยากรทั้งระบบ) ทั้งโลกอดีต ปัจจุบัน และอนาคต บทบาทของมนุษย์ในฐานะผู้กระทำและผู้ถูกกระทำ และแนวทางในการแก้ไข

1. เป็นรายวิชาในหมวดศึกษาทั่วไป สาระที่ 7 การปรับตัวให้เข้ากับพลวัตรของโลก

2. รายวิชานี้เป็นการเรียนการสอนแบบออนไลน์ 100%

3. สื่อการเรียนทั้งหมดสามารถศึกษาได้จาก LMS โดยสื่อการสอนและงานมอบหมายในแต่ละคาบมีช่วงเวลาการเข้าถึงที่จำกัดในช่วงของตารางเรียนคาบนั้นๆ (ประมาณ 1-2 สัปดาห์)

4. รายวิชานี้ไม่มีการสอบ คะแนนทั้งหมดมาจากการทำงานมอบหมายท้ายคาบ ตัดเกรดตามคะแนนที่ได้รับ ไม่มีการติด I
